If the doors ever sang 'House of the Rising Sun' then it is unknown to me. Perhaps you mean 'Waiting For The Sun' or try the more recent collaboration between Eric Burdon and Robby Krieger. Good luck!
A friend of mine has recently told me someone made him listen to that version.I tried SLSK and found an instrumental one but I cannot prove it's by THE DOORS.Thanks for answering.
